Cold start in Iowa, 49 degrees. Heading south towards home. Bates has a scenic route planes and the weather is good. Batteries gave us a fit this morning and we needed to break out the charger to get running. So much for lithium ion batteries being cold weather friendly! But who take a battery charger with them on a trip? Bates is SO prepared and I am grateful!
