Great day of riding. Over 500 miles and we had a great lunch in Golden,CO with Bryan and Leah. Missed the weather around and south of Denver by going east and catching Hwy 287 that will take us home. Ate dinner in Lamar, CO (finally got here!) and avoided weather as we went south. Decided against the Iron Butt challenge and pulled in for the night at J’s motel. Going to get up early (with Bates, early does not mean the same thing as it does to the rest of the world) and try and get a head start on the hot temperatures we are expecting on the last 500 miles of our trip.
