Started the morning with breakfast in Jasper and a quick ride to the top of the “Grand Canyon of Arkansas” overlook of the Buffalo River Valley. From there we rode north to Mystic Caverns where we went underground and explored a cave that dates back to the 1800’s. We left and had lunch atop Mt. Magazine before leaving for Mena and a dip in the pool at the Sun Country Inn. A day in Mena is never complete until you enjoy a steak at The Chopping Block Steakhouse which got us ready to rest up for the long trip home. Planning a 6 AM departure to beat the Texas heat a little bit tomorrow. Glad Bates is not here, 6AM is not in his vocabulary! All in all a great day at 256 miles
