314 miles through The Wichita Mountain National Wildlife Refuge and on up to "The Mother Road" Route 66. We saw Elk, Buffalo and some prairie dogs! The top of Nount Scott was breathtakingly beautiful! You can't believe your in Oklahoma!  Off for the Route 66...

Well, it's finally finished! Bates has been working hard (and spending a ton! ) and finally got his bike running again! First time since we got home from Alaska, last...

Bates needs a wife. If he had a wife he would not be on paint job number 3 for a bike that is less than ten years old. If he had a wife he would have too many pairs of shoes and outfits to buy, and diamonds! And he would have no money for new paint jobs ! ...

Well, Bates is finally cleaning out all the mud and junk from our Alaska trip. I am told, he found the end of the rainbow and the pot of gold.  As if this writing, his fender that was crunched on the Cassiare Highway in BC is being replaced and repainted....
