About 135 miles into our trip my bikes drive chain (belt) snapped! We were able to get off the road into a parking lot. After numerous phone calls we realized that no one within several hundred miles was open on Monday. trying to optimize as much time and miles as we could we decided getting the bike home was the best option. JP, with the help of E got the emergency trailer and came to our rescue. The bike was loaded and off for home we went with Matt following close behind. Ron and Patrick at Texas Harley Davison were super helpful. We dropped the bike off at 4:30 today and are hopeful a repair by early afternoon tomorrow. More to follow
