Saturday was a great ride! Easy day and some great roads. Trouble showed up on the way to dinner. Bates rear tire showing excessive wear. Just like 10 years previously on Route 66 we were finished in Hot Springs. JP got the trailer and rescued Bates as Bryan’s and I rode the 335 miles home. What trip would not be complete without rain? Several heavy showers as we entered Texas but nothing we were not prepared for.
