Easton and I got up this morning and rode to Clinton, Oklahoma to the Route 66 museum. After the tour (a tour Bates and I missed in 2010 due to one big mean thunderstorm!) E and I spent some time and money in the gift shop. So sad we had no extra room in the T Bag for more trinkets. We rode Rout 66 through Weatherford, El Reno and Yukon (said hi to Garth, kidding) and into OKC. Went to the  Oklahoma City Bombing memorial, very moving every time I go. This is where home schooling is so great, they don’t just read about it, they experience it.  We then went to Pops soda shop for lunch before leaving the Mother Road to head south for home. A great two day trip all in all. The Harley ran flawlessly as we passed over 63K miles on the old ’05. Would not have wanted any other bike!
