Bates and I started in Hendersonville,NC this morning and after about 100 miles of yanking and banking around Saluda, Flat Rock and Lake Lure we met back up with Dave in Asheville,NC and back onto the parkway we went. Somewhat cloudy today and it rained on us at the top of MT Mitchell. We pressed on dashing into and out of the clouds. The views were limited by the overcast but the Parkway was empty of traffic so we had a blast! Leaving for Washington DC in the morning.
